In 2019, Utah didn’t need another spa or cosmetic treatment center. It needed a more innovative, personalized experience to achieve natural, balanced beauty. As industry veterans, Brooke and Emily were acutely aware of what was lacking and driven to create a space of expertise without pretension. Their priority was to ensure clients all the comforts of a 5-star facility while maintaining a supportive, memorable environment.
Maven’s mission is to provide lasting value to every client from the first visit. We believe beauty is at the center of natural, balanced results. Maven Medical Arts opened its doors in Draper, Utah in November 2019 and hit the ground running. Leading in the state of Utah, our Maven Cosmetic Injectors now inject more than 10,000 units of BOTOX Cosmetic each month!
Our Founders
BROOKE ANDERSON, RN, BSN
Brooke has been in the aesthetic space for over 15 years. She started her career as an RN in Labor & Delivery in 1996. In 2006, she began working with plastic surgeons in the operating room and clinic. Brooke was instrumental in opening one of Salt Lake City’s first medical spas and has been injecting and training other providers ever since. Her love for aesthetics is shown in her philosophy of providing natural results with a personal touch.
Since 2010, she has been both a speaker and trainer for Allergan Medical Institute (Allergan; the maker of Botox, Juvederm fillers, and Kybella). When not in the office, Brooke is usually traveling to train other providers locally and throughout the country. She is passionate about mentoring providers and teaching assessments on how to achieve safe, beautiful outcomes.
Brooke has been practicing as a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist since 2015. She is a member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, as well as the American Med Spa Association. She stays current on advancements in the industry by regularly attending national conferences and training.
Brooke is the mother of three amazing adult children, two spoiled dogs, and a cat. She’s a native Utahan and has lived in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and North Carolina. Her favorite creative outlet is decorating and fashion. Brooke’s known for her sweet disposition and “natural injection results.”

EMILY MATHESON, RN, BSN
Emily has been injecting for 10 years. She found her love for aesthetics after years of work in a cosmetic surgery center. She started as a Scrub Tech and transitioned into a Circulating and PACU nurse when she graduated from nursing school. She spent over 14 years in the OR and was the Nursing Director of a Surgical Center for 6 of those years. She also spent time working at Primary Children’s Hospital and in the Cardiac Unit at LDS Hospital.
Once Emily jumped into the injection world she never looked back. She fell in love with the skill and art it takes to be an injector, and embraces every opportunity she can to continue to advance her expertise, including attending multiple conferences and national training every year and is an active member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses. She is also back in school again to earn her Nurse Practitioner Degree.
When Emily isn’t working and enjoying her patients, she is running her five kids to their next basketball, football, or lacrosse games or hanging with her girls at their cheerleading competitions. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and working out! She even took on the challenge of competing in a bikini competition 4 years ago, as an opportunity to strengthen herself both physically and mentally!
Emily has also been instrumental in running our in-office hands-on training program for new injectors called MAVEN LIT (Leading Injector Training). She loves training and watching others learn the true art of Injecting. She’s also recently been appointed an Endo Aesthetics QWO Trainer aka “Booty Boss.”

Erin Roberts | MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Erin has almost 13 years of ICU nurse experience, 2 years of family practice NP experience, and has been in aesthetics for 2 years. She is a Biote® certified provider and helps men and women in regulating their hormone levels. Erin is happily married and has 2 kids she adores. She loves to travel and never says no to cookie dough! Her work here at Maven is incredible and she loves being a part of such a talented team of providers who have refined the are of natural-looking aesthetics.

Naomi Fullmer | RN
Naomi has been a registered nurse since 2018 working in Plastics, Same Day Surgery, PACU, Mom/Baby, but always dreamed about becoming a nurse injector and working in the aesthetic industry. At the beginning of 2022, she had the opportunity to be trained under and work with Allergan trainer + expert injector, Brooke Anderson. Since working at Maven she has witnessed the increase in patients’ confidence, self-esteem, and overall health and wellness through aesthetic procedures and loved playing a part in her patient’s personal transformations. Her goal is to dedicate the time to get to know her patient’s individual goals/expectations and enhance their natural beauty.

September Smith | LME
September has been a medical aesthetician for 5 years and graduated in 2017 from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics. She started her own business Skin by September customizing skincare plans and treatments for 3 years before joining Maven in 2019. September is passionate about skincare, loves the medical aesthetics industry, and continuing her education in whatever is the latest technology in skincare science. But the most rewarding part is helping her clients feel their best selves and beautiful! September’s favorite treatments are chemical peels and microneedling.

Adyson Lane | LME
Adyson Lane graduated from The National Institute of Medical Aesthetics in 2020. Prior to joining Maven, she worked in Dermatology, specializing in laser modalities, treatment of skin diseases and conditions, and patient care. Adyson has worked in both medical and spa settings, mastering and implementing an environment of relaxation with medical-grade results. Adyson believes in building patient confidence and overall wellness through personalized aesthetic procedures and individual goals.
When she’s not in the treatment room, she enjoys snowboarding with her husband Tyson, and is passionate about wellness in all forms.
