A Medical Spa Experience without compromises
In 2019 Utah didn’t need another spa or cosmetic treatment center, it needed a more innovative, personalized experience to achieve natural, balanced beauty. From what they saw missing as industry veterans, Brooke and Emily created Maven Medical Arts to ensure a memorable experience for every visitor. Maven Medical Arts aspired to create a medical center that delivers all the comforts of a 5-star facility, without the pretentious vibe.
Maven’s mission is to provide lasting value to every client from the first visit. We believe beauty is at the center of natural, balanced results. Maven Medical Arts opened its doors in Draper, Utah in November 2019 and hit the ground running.
We Can’t Wait To Give You The Maven Treatment.
Meet The Founders
As an industry veteran, Brooke was one of the first aesthetic injectors in the area and has been injecting full-time since 2008. Her path as a registered nurse began in 1996 working in labor and delivery. Prior to the opening of spas in Salt Lake and Utah County, she worked with a group of Plastic Surgeons in their clinic and operating room. She quickly developed a love for aesthetics and an understating of the doctors’ philosophy of a personal touch and natural results.
Since 2011, Brooke has been a speaker and trainer for Allergan Medical Institute (Allergan; the maker of Botox, Juvederm fillers, and Kybella). When she’s not in the office she’s usually traveling or training other providers locally and throughout the country. She’s passionate about skill development and sharing her experience and expertise with other providers. In 2018 she was asked to be one of Allergan’s first Aesthetic Nurse Ambassadors in the Country.
Brooke has been practicing as a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist since 2015. She’s also a member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses. She stays current on advancements in the industry by attending national conferences and training every year.
Brooke is the mother of three amazing adult children, two spoiled dogs, and a cat. She’s a native Utahan and has lived in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and North Carolina. Her favorite creative outlet is decorating and fashion. Brooke’s known for her sweet disposition and “natural injection results”.
Emily has been injecting for 7 years. She found her love for aesthetics after years of work in a cosmetic surgery center. She started as a Scrub Tech, then after graduating from nursing school transitioned into a Circulating and PACU nurse. She spent over 14 years in the OR and was the Nursing Director of a Surgical Center for 6 of those years. She also spent time working at Primary Children’s Hospital and in the Cardiac Unit at LDS Hospital.
Once Emily jumped into the injection world she never looked back. She fell in love with the skill and art it takes to be an injector, and embraces every opportunity she can to continue to advance her expertise, including attending multiple conferences and national training every year. She is Board Certified in Aesthetic Nursing (CANS), is an active member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses and is always current in her ACLS and BLS certifications.
When Emily isn’t working and enjoying her patients, she is running her five kids to their next basketball, football, or lacrosse games or hanging with her girls at their cheerleading competitions. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and working out! She even took on the challenge of competing in a bikini competition 2 years ago, as an opportunity to strengthen herself both physically and mentally!
“Be yourself today…you look beautiful that way”. There is nothing better than helping someone else feel better, feel themselves again, and look naturally beautiful!
Ashlyn graduated from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics in 2017, and has been working in the skin industry ever since! She gained a lot of experience and knowledge working in dermatology as a Medical Assistant and Esthetician. She is an ingredient junkie and is just as passionate about skincare products as she is aesthetic treatments. Her favorite treatments to perform are microneedling and chemical peels.
“Being a natural redhead helped me realize at a young age that taking good care of my skin was very important! It quickly became a lifestyle for me. It is my goal to help everyone feel confident and beautiful in their own skin!”
Ashlyn loves working with the skin, but loves the trust and relationships she makes with her clients the most!
After earning her diploma from National Institute of Medical Aesthetics in 2017, Olivia immediately continued her education by working for a dermatologist for 3 years. She received extensive education on advanced skin conditions and laser technologies.
Olivia’s personal battle with hormonal acne has driven her to be dedicated to treating and transforming her patient’s skin and specializes in acne and extraction services. Olivia finds this industry fulfilling due to the continued opportunity to connect with new people while helping them feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.
September graduated in 2018 from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics. She started her own business Skin by September 3 years ago. She treated clients in all the things skincare creating custom skincare programs and treatment plans before joining Maven Medical Arts. September loves the science behind skincare and continuing her education in whatever is current and the latest skincare technology. However, the most rewarding part of what she does is to help her clients feel beautiful and confident! Her favorite part of the treatments she performs is when her clients leave feeling pampered and amazing inside their own skin! “There is nothing better than seeing those changes in my clients’ skin!” Septembers favorite treatments are the Diamond Glow and Microneedling.
Jessica has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2015, and has a background in Internal Medicine and Urgent Care. Prior to working as a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Nurse in oncology/bone marrow transplant. Although she loves and plans on continuing to practice traditional medicine, she has always had a special interest in aesthetics. She started performing cosmetic injections about two years ago and was actually trained by her lovely colleague Brooke Anderson.
These days her free time is mostly spent trying to keep my three young girls and two dogs alive, Jessica is more than thrilled to be a part of the Maven Medical Arts team and looks forward to aging backward with our clients!
